The Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Hannover and the German-African Business Association cordially invite you to the SADC-Agricultural Business Forum on the 29th/30th November 2012 which will take place at the IHK in Hannover. At the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) a welcome reception will take place on the evening of the 28th November 2012
A recent study carried out by our co-operation partner UNIDO has reconfirmed that great potential for German business lies in the Agricultural sector of the Southern African economic region (SADC). Our event offers German as well as African businesses an opportunity to engage in B2B-Discussions and in special fora on current issues and innovations in the agricultural value chain and to discuss new opportunities for German manufacturers on the African market, to unlock new markets and to establish and strengthen customer and supplier relationships.
As initiators the SADC Ambassadors group to Germany and the “Southern Africa Initiative of German Business” (SAFRI), invite you to attend a forum focused on SADC specific regional Agricultural themes. The event will be hosted in Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen), the no.1 agricultural state in Germany. The German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Consumer Protection has taken patronage of the event.
High-ranking government officials, from countries including Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania, as well as experts from the German and international agricultural and financial sectors have already confirmed their participation.
